Dementia Training for Professionals and Caregivers

For 14 years, Rosemary Bakker was on the academic staff in the Division of Geriatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she developed ThisCaringHome.org, a multimedia website on evidence-based best practices in dementia care. In addition, she has written extensively on dementia care, including articles and book chapters for many major publications, including the Handbook on the Neuropsychology of Aging and Dementia (Springer, 2010), Geriatric Care by Design (AMA, 2015), The Encyclopedia of Elder Care (Springer, 2017) and the Merck Manual of Geriatrics (Merck, 2000). As a result, Rosemary is much in demand as a speaker and trainer in the field of dementia care.
